Types

Types

The Star Force Imbued - are individuals burdened with portions of the Star Force, they are similar to the Star Forced.  The Family absorbed a small portion of one on their way through the Kaleidoscope Cascade.  The noble blooded of Immortia seem to possess some kid of Star Force imbuement.

The Star Forced - Very unique individuals who house a whole Star Force, ones that came from the evolution of the universe.  SuperDude houses Dawnbringer, while Humongous Man once housed Eclipse, and the stone of Central Park became the progenitor of the Star Force Centurions.

Human - Just your standard baseline normal person from an Earth, be it Prime or II.  Sometimes the most dangerous of the species.

Augments - are humans that were tested on by the government using the blood of Arien Blackwood.  They have super human abilities and number in the hundreds.

Aliens - Species not of the Earth.

Genetic Hybrids - The children of the augmented that are imbued with greater than human abilities.

Immortals - Humans who do not die through any conventional means.  Some live forever because of a curse (the 4 Woes), others are immortal because of noble blood.  Immortality always comes at a cost and most come with a curse.

Scions - Individuals who are genetically perfect to house the Entities God Seed, they then become his Scions and spread chaos through the universe so that he may feed.

Stand Alone 7

Black Sapphire gasped for a few moments and then drifted back into slumber, where once again her dreams were invaded by The Knowledge and the final story of Arien the Immortal.

Stand Alone 7 - The Bank job

” I walk a lonely road, the only one I have ever known.”
“Don’t know where it goes. “
“But its home to me and I walk alone.”
“I walk this empty street, on this boulevard of broken dreams.”
“When the city sleeps, and I’m the only one and I walk alone.”
                                                                                    - Billy Joe

Once upon a time I was part of the royal family, one of the High Blood Caste, I was called Arien and I acted as an advisor to the Queen’s two sons and served at her behest to the best of my abilities.  This lasted for centuries until one fate filled day I arrived in another universe.  I was taken by the government and experimented on for many years.

I eventually escaped from my captors and made my way to the corner of Eden and Prairie where I will take the last step in my journey and push forward the unsuspecting destinies of eleven people.

As I stepped through the glass doors and looked at the small crowd there I took in each individual. A young man and his girlfriend giving each other small kisses as they waited in line near an aging security guard standing near the entrance who was picking at his teeth with a pen cap.  The manager watching as the two female tellers handled the late evening customers.  A middle aged mother trying to keep her young son from causing a ruckus with the other customers.  A young Asian woman mumbling to herself, an angry look on her face and her checkbook in her hand being crushed.  A young Jesuit priest, his bald head perfectly shaven clean.  His clothing hiding several tattoos on his neck and arms and finally a young woman brushing her hip with her right hand each pass showing a badge clipped to her belt that read COLUMN.

I go into the arms of our gods with a smile on my face and destiny in my hands.  They began to scream and react as my coat dropped to the ground and they saw the explosives.  The woman officer and security guard began to draw their weapons and cry out as I detonated the device strapped to myself.

He imploded into a fine red mist that circulated the room and was breathed in by all in the enclosed space.  The curse that had bound him to the universe was released and he drifted into oblivion.

“One of these days the ground will drop out from beneath your feet.”
“One of these days your heart will stop and play its final beat.”
“One of these days the clocks will stop and time won't mean a thing.”
“One of these days their bombs will drop and silence everything.”
-        David Grohl

“We are on scene at the Show of Force bank and trust.  A failed terrorist attack was just performed by an unknown individual that resulted in a failure to kill anyone or destroy any property; however it managed to claim the life of the bomber himself.”

“They are being called The Force Eleven.  Eleven survivors of the attempted suicide bombing that only claimed the life of the bomber.  Information on his motivations is unknown at this time.  What is known is that no one was hurt and all eleven are being taken to Saint Angel of the Prophet to be more thoroughly examined by the professionals.”

Elsewhere…

“Gaddamn lying brother of mine.  I followed him see, followed him to this here bank and I’ll get that money he owes me.”  An explosion sounded from within and he looked up to the source of the sound as a reddish mist puffed from a vent and he inhaled.  “What?” He managed before collapsing into a heap amongst the garbage of the alleyway.

Stand Alone 6

Black Sapphire knelt down before The Knowledge and sighed. “A bigger picture is forming here.”

“The universe is a vast place. It has many mysteries that even the Cataloguers have yet to discover. We know much, and yet every day discover something new.” The Archivist spoke quietly at her side. “Perhaps it is time you rested. You have been using The Knowledge for hours now and we seldom use it for more than one viewing at a time.”

She nodded and stood. “Do you have somewhere I can sleep for a few hours?”

He nodded and led her away from the massive stone. It watched her leave. The Knowledge was not done with her this night, and her dreams were wracked with nightmares.

Stand Alone 6 - Falling Down

I fell to Earth one day in the Silver Age of Man.

A new day was dawning, and I was going to be used to usher in an age of change. The Age of Heroes.

It began when I fell through a crack in the universe and landed in another.

My name is Arien and I am an immortal, one of the High Blood Caste, advisor to the Queen and friend to her sons. When I fell through the crack I was lost to them, but someday they would search for me.

As I landed I was subsequently slain from the impact, but by the time the authorities had arrived to assist me I had already come back to life. My soul was still weak, and it did not take long for the people in control to catch wind of my arrival. The government knew what they had in their hands. Power.

I was to be used as the catalyst for a process to jump-start humanity's genetic potential. It worked in more ways than they could anticipate. I augmented hundreds, thousands of people and started the next era.

Make no mistake; I did not create all of the heroes of the age. There were others already emerging before I arrived. But I assisted in the foundation. Everyone I touched was part of me. Even though they kept me on the verge of death I could feel myself out in the world. The day I escaped was the day I felt myself giving birth. The first time one of my pieces divided woke me from my drug-induced coma, and allowed me to break free of my containment and go out into the world.

My escape, however, was a short one. I quickly fell into a situation that I could not have foreseen... although my captors had.

They were called The Cataloguers. They watched the universe and recorded everything to The Knowledge. I know you’re watching this message, Mercedes. They told me you would come to them for answers one day, and they told you what was coming. After I take my leave of them I will be no more; my curse can be broken through sacrifice and that is what I shall do... sacrifice myself for the greater good.

This day is coming soon. As soon as they free me I shall find the people to finish what I accidently began all those years ago. A force to head into the future and lead the others against the coming darkness.

Take what you can from them, Black Sapphire, and prepare yourself for the future. The Event was only the beginning. Soon the ripples that started with Shrulk will become a wave, and that wave will collide with the shore, and only you can prevent it from becoming a tsunami.

Her eyes snapped open and her breath rushed out of her body. “What the hell was that?”
